2. Imam Ali ar-Reza (p): In knowledge and courage, we (the Imams)
are equal, and in granting favours to others, we follow the Commandments
of God.

3. Imam Jafar as-Sadiq (p) quoting the Prophet Muhammad (p): We are
exactly the same as regards to command, understanding, and what is
lawful and what is unlawful but the Prophet Muhammad (p) and Imam
Ali (p) have their own excellence.
