Musa al-Kazim (p): Remain calm and steadfast at the tyranny
of your enemies. There can be no better revenge against those who
have disobeyed God in dealing with you than to obey God. God will
confine them to the chastisement of hell.(B5,C54,T3)

Jafar as-Sadiq (p): If you are living in a country governed
by your enemies, act with forbearance against their persecutions
as a prudent and precautionary measure. This holds good especially
for those who are under oppression and act with balanced restraint
and caution so that this attitude of yours may earn respect for
you. Do not reveal your enmity, otherwise they will overpower you
and you will become degraded and despised.(B5,C54,T4)

791. 5. Imam
Jafar as-Sadiq (p): One who suppresses his anger, God enhances
his eminence in this world and the hereafter. God, the Almighty,
the Glorious, said: … those who restrain anger, and forgive
people; and God loves those who do good (Q, 3:134), God will bestow
on him a high position for (suppressing) his anger.(B5,C54,T5)

Jafar as-Sadiq (p): On the Day of Judgement God will fill
with His pleasure the heart of the believer who restrains his anger
although he is in a position to express it.(B5,C54,T6) |
793. 8. Imam
Jafar as-Sadiq (p): Behave with restraint with the enemies
of the bounties (of God). You cannot take better revenge from those
who have disobeyed God in dealing with you than being obedient to
God. Verily, God has chosen Islam and approved it. Remain within
its limits by being generous and good mannered.(B5,C54,T8)

Zainul Abideen (p): One, who chooses the way of God, has
to drink two cups. One is to act with restraint in case of anger
and the other is to act with patience and steadfastness in a case
of adversity.(B5,C54,T9) |
795. 13. Imam
Jafar as-Sadiq (p): God, the Almighty, the Glorious, likes
no one better than a person who restrains his anger either by patience
or by forbearance.(B5,C54,T13) |
